    AUS Garment Tracking System

The bar code technology used at Australian Uniform Service was developed with faultless customer service, in mind. By labelling every garment with a unique barcode we are able to scan a garment into our Route Maintenance system every time it arrives into our processing facility, thus allowing a complete history of use to be built up on each wearers use of each garment and ensuring accurate billing.

The benefits provided by our barcode technology is to maximise garment use, control inventory and ensure that the customer get the best service at the lowest cost.
Every garment we maintain (either rented out by us or supplied by the customer), once barcoded, has its complete history recorded in our Route Maintenance System. Each time that garment is presented for processing,it has its serial number scanned into the computer and its  usage record is updated. A garment report can be generated on request so that presentation history can be monitored by our customer or by ourselves. This can provide a real benefit where our clients compliance to garment change policy, is necessary to comply with Quality Assurance Systems or Regulatory requirements.

By monitoring the garment use of each individual wearer, we are able to treat each of the clients employees as a special customer. The client can also ensure he is getting full value from his rental programme. When that employee leaves the company, we can easily stop his or her supply, and the client can assist us receive each garment back, to reduce the weekly rental.

And we list every employee we are supplying on every invoice.

The image above shows an AUS barcode and indicates the information contained on each label. AUS barcode labels are heat set onto the garment, but can be removed if required to reallocate the garment to a changed wearer.
