Repeated industry perception surveys show that concern over the accuracy and on going reliability
of a Garment Rental Service, is given as the most consistent reason clients change suppliers. AUS Garment Tracking AUS has developed a solution to the problem of service reliability and “missing” rental garments through the use of Barcode labels. These are fitted to each garment issued and provide a unique number that is assigned to each wearers garment. Once the number is allocated, the AUS Route Maintenance System, stores all the information and recognises each garment when presented for laundering. Our customers receive the benefit of a simple, fail-proof method of tracking and monitoring the movement of garments in and out of their premises which provides the comfort and security of knowing all invoicing will be accurate, providing the best value from their uniform service. The system stores the following information: · Wearer · Account name · Department · Garment style and size · Garment age · Last pick-up and delivery · Tracking: Each time the uniform is scanned, the unique information is stored in our data management system. From this information we are able to produce invoices and management reports on actual usage, as well as individually tailored reports to meet our clients requirements. After careful consideration of the organisational requirements of each prospective client, gained through site inspections, surveys and information provided by the client, AUS can tailor and provide a managed personalised garment system, providing the positive solutions for each clients unique needs. A managed personalised garment system allocates each individual employee their own garments and personalised locker. Each wearers garments unique barcode number is linked to the wearer information and cross referenced to their locker number and when presented automatically updates our Route Maintenance System. Our Service Delivery Person will deliver the garments into each employee’s personal locker and their soiled uniforms will be scanned to provide accurate usage reports. Supply Stock: Each AUS managed garment wearer will be issued with enough stock in the service cycle to ensure they have clean uniforms available for the start of each shift. For example, if a wearer requires 5 changes of clean garments per week, AUS will issue that wearer with an inventory of 11 Garments. We invest in this level of inventory so we can keep 5 garments in the wearers individual locker , 5 garments in the laundry being processed and one that is being worn on the exchange day. The client is then simply invoiced for the unit price per garment multiplied by the agreed number of changes per week. This managed personalised garment system provides your client with the following services inclusive of the unit price per garment; · Sufficient inventory of the garment; · Correct sizing and fitting of current and new employees; · Every garment laundered to the highest standard; · Delivery of clean garments into personalised lockers; · Removal of soiled garments; · Specific wearer barcode labelling; · Repairs undertaken pro-actively when necessary; · Garment replacements that are due to wear and tear; · Size changes on garments when necessary; · Soiled garment collection bins; · General tidying of change rooms; · Management reporting; · Overall secure system management. |
